<< RETURN TO WORKS STANDALONE WORKS This is a collection of pieces that do not fit tidily into a single body of work, however, some pieces are continuations on a singular theme. Some works appear in private collections having never been publicly shown, while others have appeared only in group shows.
Click on each individual work to read more about its meaning and origins. First shown at a not-for-profit art event that took place in East Hampton, NY in June of 2006. This work features an image of a naked man, applied with chalk pastel and conte, from whose arms dangle multiple colored threads that pierce the canvas. These threads respond to their environment and gently sway when the air currents around them swell, giving it a kinetic appearance, almost illusory in nature. Exhibiting artists included Lance Dehne, Juan Manuel Pajares and Stanley Casselman. | DETAIL from Emperor's New Clothes I Detail |
